The OSA Executive Board prepares Council of the Swiss Abroad CSA business and keeps an eye on implementation of Council decisions. It represents the OSA in external affairs and ensures smooth-running 'business as usual' between Council sessions.
Members of the Executive Board are elected from among members of the Council of the Swiss Abroad. The term of office is 4 years. The Executive Board consists of the President of the OSA and up to ten other members.
As a rule the Executive Board has from three to four full-day sessions per year. Two Vice-Presidents are appointed from among Board members as well as the Bursar responsible for OSA finances.
