Visions
At the beginning of the new millennium, the Swiss Schools Abroad performed a SWOT analysis and drew up a strategy paper. The following issues were considered:
- What is the role and importance of Swiss schools abroad today?
- What are the future prospects for our Swiss schools abroad?
- How much should our country spend on an international presence of this kind?
- What structures are needed abroad and in Switzerland?
The brochure "2010 outlook Swiss Schools Abroad" (in german) path into the future was published in February 2002. The content of that publication has been the guideline for the schools since then.
In recent months a committee consisting of school headmasters and members of the KSA Executive has been reviewing the situation. The intention is to determine the topicality of the existing document and to review its content. The revised mission statement is due to be published in autumn 2008.
