03.05.12 FDFA Helpline now operating around the clock

Since 1 May 2012, the FDFA Helpline is available for Swiss citizens 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The number – 0800 24-7-365 – meets a real need in view of the 700,000 Swiss citizens living abroad and the approximately 16 million trips made outside Switzerland every year by Swiss citizens.
