Private schools

Private!  No entry!

Besides state education, there is a wide variety of private education possibilities, from kindergartens through middle schools to hotel management schools, language schools and further education.

 

Costs

Private schools are usually independent, in that they are not financially supported by the state.  Therefore, school fees are quite high and, in most cases, must be paid either by you or by your parents because the cantons don't usually award grants for private schools.
