03.05.12 FDFA Helpline now operating around the clock

Since 1 May 2012, the FDFA Helpline is available for Swiss citizens 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The number – 0800 24-7-365 – meets a real need in view of the 700,000 Swiss citizens living abroad.

12.03.12 The Foundation for Young Swiss Abroad (SYSA)

Summer camps for children from ages 8 to 14

Every year, the Foundation for Young Swiss Abroad organizes up to ten two-week-long camp sessions for Swiss children from ages 8 to 14 who live abroad. While at the camps, the children will make friendships that cross cultural boundaries and often last for many years. In July and August 2012, the young Swiss abroad will have the chance to have fun with 30 to 50 other children from all over the world while getting to know Switzerland and their own culture at the same time.
